Late Night Dealings.

While we at onepoint2 are, of course, proponents of a good work-life balance, sometimes a client sends you a whatsapp at 9pm that sets off a chain reaction. In this case, it was a message from the owner of acclaimed Middle Eastern restaurant Bubala, with a link to an article about a Soho restaurant closure, asking if we could do some digging on their behalf. At 09.36 the following day, I sent a reply. ‘Done some detective work. Check your emails.’ That detective work is some of our favourite work, leveraging our networks and a forensic eye to find a way into a deal and to execute.

What followed was that we secured a new lease on a prime Soho restaurant, off-market, directly from the landlord, and now, that restaurant is known* as the home of the best haloumi dish this side of the Mediterranean.

*by the onepoint2 team and, no doubt, countless other devotees. Other exceptional dishes are available.
